We offer both? In addition to home modifications, we provide occupational therapy treatment services to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, and overall function. Our goal is to adapt both the environment and the individual to promote independence and overall quality of life.
Occupational therapy (OT) is a science-driven, evidence-based healthcare profession that helps individuals regain, maintain, and improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) safely and independently. No matter what challenge you’re facing—whether it’s mobility, self-care, home safety, or any other aspect of daily life—we focus on treating the specific activities that matter to you.
At Kristina Silverman, Occupational Therapy, APC, we recognize that every person is different, and so are their daily routines. That’s why we use your own activities, hobbies, and passions as part of your treatment sessions to keep you motivated and engaged in your progress. Whether it’s gardening, cooking, playing with grandchildren, or pursuing a favorite pastime, we incorporate what’s meaningful to you into therapy. Using research-backed interventions, we address your unique needs—whether it’s improving mobility, increasing strength, or making daily tasks easier—so you can continue living your life with confidence, function, and independence.
No, we do not accept insurance. We are a private-pay, out-of-pocket service provider. This allows us to offer personalized, high-quality care without the restrictions or limitations set by insurance companies. However, we can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance company to see if they offer any reimbursement or out-of-network occupational therapy services.
Getting started is simple! The process begins with a consultation where we discuss your needs and goals. We then assess your physical function, home environment, and daily routines to create a personalized plan that may include hands-on therapy, home modifications, or adaptive strategies to improve your safety and independence.
