Occupational Therapy (OT) is a client centered healthcare profession that helps individuals of all ages maintain, regain, or improve their ability to perform daily activities also known as occupations that are essential for living safely and independently. We are experts in task analysis, human health and development, and assessing the environment that tailors to the individual. Whether it's adapting a home for aging in place/safety, treating the client's physical and functional challenges, or making daily tasks easier and safer, OT focuses on practical solutions that enhance quality of life.

What We DO
OUR PROCESS
1. DISCUSS: Conversation about goals, challenges, lifestyle, wants and needs.
2. MEET: During this meeting, we take a collaborative approach while we assess your physical and functional status, medical history, home environment, and daily routines, we also listen to you. You have the opportunity to show us how you navigate your space, share your concerns, and tell us what matters most to you. This ensures that our recommendations align with your personal goals, preferences, and daily needs.
3. EXECUTE: We follow through with the personalized plan of care, whether it involves providing hands-on treatment to improve your physical function and mobility or implementing home modifications to enhance safety and accessibility. Execution may include direct therapeutic interventions, customized home modification plans with detailed drawings and reports, coordination with contractors, and education on adaptive equipment or techniques. We also provide follow-up care to ensure that changes are effective and that you feel confident navigating your home safely and independently.
